Trails.by Opportunities

TRAILS.BY SEEKING DEVELOPERS (LAMP, iOS, Android)
In simplest terms, Trails.by is a beautiful and broadly-focused website that aggregates Trails, which are a simple visual way to find & share your favorite info. We are doing two things: creating a mass-market consumer website which bridges Q&A and curated social bookmarking, and… well some secret sauce stuff we can’t talk about, yet!

Trails.by, a funded startup in Austin TX, has been growing steadily and is now seeking to dramatically accelerate team growth as we move from public beta testing to full launch of our flagship product. The team is looking for focused, collaborative, strategy and process-minded people with start-up experience to join a small group of talented individuals on a mission to change the way people learn, teach, and share.

CORE SKILLS
We are seeking strong no-drama LAMP developers with intermediate to advanced experience specifically with Symfony2, Doctrine 2, Twig, Github and Assembla.  If you arent an expert in these platforms, that’s okay, if you can show some excellent MVC and OOP work, and are a fan of creating and consuming APIs.

We are also seeking an experienced IOS Developer and an experienced Android Developer.

If the above describes you and are ready to join our team, please send your resume with links to 3 projects or at least one iOS or Andriod App to hello@trails.by .

Having great work is the baseline, but don’t forget to drop a line or two about what you bring besides stellar code.

What does it take to be successful in this company?
-Do you have a passion for delivering e-learning solutions and adaptive learning methodology?
-Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment?
-Do you have the ability to work on multiple platforms simultaneously?
-Do have the ability to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate it all into the development plan?
-Do you want an opportunity to help change the world by changing the way that people learn and grow?
-Do you live to work rather than work to live?

If you answered yes to all of these questions, then you will thrive here.
